On Thursday, July 17, seven amazing musicians—Mia Alonge, Jesse Cohen-Greenberg, Max and Nicholas Derderian, Jason Horne, Emma Horvath, and Philip Ruggirello—rocked the Cone Zone on Western Avenue with a thrilling set of eight songs that they learned in just one week. Seasoned Capital District musicians and expert teachers Tom Pirozzi and Kevin Hendrick had guided the campers through their intensive rock n roll training, and the produced a phenomenal show. Their set list included the Beatles’ “Come Together,” Pink’s “Perfect,” and even an original tune, “Amen,” by Emma Horvath. Here’s the incredible crew doing “Twist and Shout”:
