Music Studio Alumnus to Perform with the SSO

Ryan ReillyOn Sunday, November 9, Music Studio alumnus Ryan Reilly will perform as a soloist with the Schenectady Symphony Orchestra. Ryan started at The Music Studio at a young age, and went on to Juilliard, first for a pre-college program and then to earn his bachelor’s, and now to complete a master’s degree.

With the SSO, Ryan will perform Brahms’ Piano Concerto no. 2. The  concert,  “Music from Vienna,” will also feature waltzes by Strauss and Beethoven’s Symphony no. 8. The concert will be held at 3 p.m. at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady, New York. Children under 18 can attend for free, thanks to a grant from Price Chopper. Ryan will give a short master class on the Brahms concerto the day before the concert (Saturday, November 8) at The Music Studio’s first recitals of the year, in the Recital Hall of the Performing Arts Center at the University of Albany.
