Classes for Young Children Begin Oct. 6

The Music Studio will offer short-term classes for 2, 3, and 4-year-olds beginning October 6. All the classes will introduce children to musical concepts and tap into their innate love of music and their need to move to a beat. And they will involve parents in the fun, as well.

For 3 and young 4-year-olds, we will offer “There’s Music in Me.” With song, dance, musical games, and instrument play, students will enjoy every second of the hour-long class, while building skills and beginning to explore a basic musical language. (4 classes/60 minutes. Tuition: $84.00. October 6–November 1: Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. or 1 p.m.; Wednesday, 9:30 a.m.; or Saturday, 12:30 p.m.)

For 2-year-olds, we will offer “Music for the Very Young.” Parent and child together experience the heritage of traditional tunes, folk songs, finger games, and nursery rhymes, creating a delightful family legacy of shared music. (4 classes/50 minutes. Tuition: $76.00. October 6–November 1: Monday, 9:30 a.m. or Thursday, 10:30 a.m.)
