Madelaine ClaytonTeacher

Pianist and teacher Madelaine Clayton is a Capital Region native. She attended Regina Caeli Academy in Scotia before matriculating at the University at Albany, where she received her bachelor’s degree in music and fine arts. Ms. Clayton is an accompanist at Notre Dame Visitation Church in Schuylerville as well as the choir music director at North American Martyrs Chapel in Glens Falls. She has taught extensively: as a teaching assistant for special needs children at Wildwood School in Schenectady, as a Sunday school teacher, and as a private piano teacher. “My goal as a piano teacher,” she says, “Is not only to impart technical proficiency, but also to create a lifelong love and appreciation for music in my students.”
