The Saratoga Performing Arts Center turns 50 this year, and they’ve asked The Music Studio Kids to help them celebrate. At the July 8 Family Picnic, for instance, The Music Studio Kids were front and center, performing as an Orffchestra under the guidance of their fearless director and conductor, Noel Liberty. These fifteen private piano students worked hard to prepare for the evening, knowing that their job was not just to honor SPAC, but also to inspire all the children in attendance with the incredible music that young people can make. It worked. Practice, teamwork, concentration, and (of course) musical skill combined to produce an enchanting hour of music. But that’s not all: on August 4 and August 19, The Music Studio Kids will be bringing their music-making back to SPAC for pre-show performances. Get your tickets now!
