A comprehensive 3 or 4-year school-year program, for students entering at ages 4 through 7. The Music Studio’s Foundation gives children a thorough knowledge of and love for music, as well as exceptional early instruction in piano.Learn More
Our program begins with The Foundation, three or four years of group lessons that introduce young children to the joy of music as well as instruct them in every aspect of musical knowledge. Fluent in note-reading, well-versed in rhythm, pitch, and dynamics, comfortable with the keyboard, and excited to move on, students then graduate to The Piano Program. There they flourish as musicians in private piano instruction, with supplemental group theory/repertoire classes and myriad opportunities to perform. The Music Studio also offers adult students a chance to learn (or re-learn) to play, through Recreational Piano; short-term Music for Young classes, for children who aren’t ready to begin our school-year instruction; and Summer Programs to keep children making music even when school’s out.
Students who have completed The Foundation are ready to advance to private piano instruction with one of The Music Studio’s excellent teachers, although they continue to benefit from periodic group lessons, master classes, and more.Learn More
